Distance service agreement

This agreement governs the intermediary service purchased online on rentbalkans.com and the rights and obligations of the parties.

1. Seller details

Service provider: Elevandos Yazılım ve Medya Limited Şirketi ("RentBalkans"). Tax office: Karşıyaka. Address: Adalet Mah. Manas Bulvarı No:47/B Folkart Towers Floor 26 Unit 2601, Bayraklı / İzmir / Türkiye. Contact: the contact form on the rentbalkans.com Help page. Customer: the user who makes the booking and enters the driver details.

2. Subject of the service

Creating the booking for the selected car and passing it to the rental company (booking service). The online prepayment is the fee for this service; its amount is shown at the payment step. The car rental itself and the remaining amount are governed by the rental agreement signed with the company at pick-up.

3. Invoice

An invoice is issued for the intermediary fee. Turkish citizens receive it with their national ID number, foreign customers with passport number and country; a tax ID is entered for company invoices. The rental invoice is issued by the company at pick-up.

4. Right of withdrawal

Under Article 15(g) of the Turkish Distance Contracts Regulation, there is no right of withdrawal for car rental services to be provided on a specific date or period. Nevertheless, RentBalkans offers free cancellation up to the period shown on every offer and before payment (48 hours before pickup for standard cars, 7 days for premium, luxury and minivans); in that case the full prepayment is refunded to the same card in the same currency. Later cancellations and no-shows are not refunded. If the rental company does not confirm the booking or cannot provide the car, the full prepayment is refunded.

5. Dispute resolution

This contract is governed by Turkish law. Consumers may apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee where they live or where the transaction took place, within the monetary limits set annually by the Ministry of Trade, and to the Consumer Court for disputes above those limits. Consumers living outside Türkiye retain the rights granted by mandatory consumer protection rules of their country. Disputes about the rental service itself are governed by the rental contract signed at pickup and the law of that country; RentBalkans mediates communication in that process.
